Headquartered in New York, with RnD and manufacturing offices in Ukraine and Germany, Esper Bionics gathers over 35 professionals with strong expertise in medicine, engineering, entrepreneurship, and sales in its team.
It was co-founded in 2019 by Dima Gazda, a medical doctor, electronic engineer, and serial entrepreneur, with a clear vision that electronics inside the human body — i.e. electronic implants — are the most important technology to be developed within the next thirty years. This technology will give humans extra abilities, eliminate many diseases, and help billions of people live longer and more fulfilling lives in a diverse world.
As the first step toward electronic implants, Esper Bionics is set to upgrade the low-tech prosthetics industry. The startup’s founders believe that the prosthetics community will be the birthplace of the technology stack for electronic implants since large wearable devices are excellent chargers, data receivers and processors for electronic implants.
